There are only a few days left to take advantage of the federal tax credit for energy efficient home improvement. All improvements must be installed before the end of 2010. This $1500 tax credit can be applied toward the expense of fireplaces, heating and cooling equipment, insulation, and replacement windows.
Not only do homeowners want an efficient house, but they also assume that they will be comfortable in every room of the house. Unfortunately, this simple desire cannot be addressed solely by a great envelope system. To achieve comfort in every room, focused attention must be paid to proper design and installation of the HVAC system.
